Ah, strawberries! I had to paint something that reminded me of early summer, since here in the North East we haven't been seeing any signs of summer. I bought these at Clark Farm in Danvers, MA.
Yum! Bold and punchy. This one shows your confidence and is much more loose, yet perfectly realistic. There's still a subtle drama going on with the shadow and the foreshortened carton. The way you handled each individual fruit is beautiful and elegant. Nice job!
